Isn't It Funny?

I was thinking just now about how God works. I have a message that God has given me, that every time I preach, I am not released from this message. I have to preach it. It has been about seven times now. It is a message of encouragement and determination. There have been times that I suppose I have needed to hear it more than anyone. In the midst of turmoil, in the midst of the storm, if we can but call on Him. Three words-that was all it took-three words, "Peace be still." Normally my blog is a bit comical. Ultimately there are those times when your world is rocked by a storm. "Jason's World" is no different. I am encouraged. For I can almost hear the first syllable being uttered. I am certain God has heard the cries of his children and that answer is on its way. Those words of the message resound in my ears time and time again.

I was actually starting this post a different way, but it ended up totally different. God is so good to prepare us for the unseen that lies ahead.

It's sooooooo true. No matter what goes on around us or even in our own lives, as long as we're in the same boat Jesus is in, we've nothing to fear. In His own good time, He always brings that wonderful, soothing PEACE to us once again. You're in my prayers!

God is our refuge and a very present help in time of trouble. Lean on Him. Rest in Him. Let Him be your defender. I am also thankful for those three words of encouragement, "PEACE BE STILL!"

He has heard and the answer is on its way.

I must say, this blogging thing is great. I have found so much needed support and an outlet. Some of you know of the chaos that rocks Jason's real world right now. I have tried so hard to keep my blog free of that. It is a place to come and get away from what is going on around. It is like going to visit all of you. Thanks so much for being a part of my world.

I was thinking the other day that in the peace be still account in the Bible, it states that there were with them other little boats. I am so glad I am on board with Him! He called me into the boat and assured me that I will reach the other side. Hallelujah!!! I am holding fast the form of sound words and clinging to that which I believe in with all my heart.

Thank you all for your much needed prayers. God will arise to scatter His enemies. Until then, I am patient and persistent.

Isn't great to find all of the love, support and prayers with people all over the world. This blogging thang makes the world smaller and helps us all to help carry the burdens of our brothers and sisters as well as them helping us to carry our own, thus making the burden so much lighter. God is a gracious God and has given us a wonderful family.

About Me

My photo
In 2003, my wife Tabithia and I left our city home and embarked on an unexpected journey. Both of us have fulltime jobs outside of the home. When the work day is over we return home and begin working again. We have around 100 animals here. Many of which are owner surrendered or rescued. This 4 +/- acres of land that we call Fair Haven Farms is a little piece of heaven. Not everything is always grand, but we endure the negative and celebrate the highlights of our furred and feathered friends. The farm is available for travel. We participate in many educational programs. FHF also opens the barn doors for birthday parties and other events. Feel free to visit our Fair Haven Farm facebook page. We hope to see you soon. Until then may every day be FARMTASTIC!
