San Diego Here We Come!!!

Well, it has come time to take a restful vacation for us. Ministers Convention went very well yesterday. My 15 min evangelism boost even went well. While I was working on it I had to get and go through the house rejoicing. Everything worked so well together yesterday. It was all inspired and anointed. At the time of this post, I should be finishing my children's church lesson. So I will keep this one brief. Maybe this afternoon I will get teh time to post again or at least reply. As for next week. We will be in sunny San Diego with camera in hand. I have never really seen the ocean up close. So this will be a new adventure for me.

Glad your Convention went well and you survived your boost. --Hope you have a great time in San Diego. I hear the zoo is fantastic, but we've never been there. We did go to Sea World and have memories that will last a lifetime from there. Becki and Jon were about 10 and 12 years old at the time. We have some great videos of our day at Sea World, but we nearly froze to death. All we had was sweatshirts because we were going to sunny southern California. They had a record breaking cold front. My teeth still chatter when I think about it. LOL!

Yea! I know how you feel when a boost is anointed and goes well!

Have a blast in San Diego. The ocean is awesome and I hope that you have great weather. You could always pop up to Washington and join us while you are out this way, but then...we may be heading home by the time you get to the coast. Nice thought anyway. Oh btw...today was the Thanksgiving potluck...oh was it sooooo good! Ya missed it! ~grin~ Hugs to Tab!

I thought that it must be thanksgiving up there. That cooking post made me hungry. It sure did not sound like normal family meal type stuff. I better get off of here we leave in anout 30 minutes. We miss all of you while were gone. I will have plenty pics to post once we return. The zoo sounds great and so does Sea World. The beach kind of worries me. You never know what might shock your modesty. Pray for our trip.

If the plane goes down this will be the last post because no one else int he family is smart enough to figure this out. I am glad they are not because that comment might have really offended them. Oh well, they will never know. And don't any of you all tell them.
Just kidding.

The beach is perfectly modest if you know how to plan. We went in January when it was COLD. There was one girl on the entire beach...wearing jeans and a big wooly sweater, wrapped in a blanket, reading a book. :-)

I hope you guys had a TERRIFIC time--I'm looking forward to seeing lots of great pictures and hearing lots of crazy tales. Hurry home!

About Me

My photo
In 2003, my wife Tabithia and I left our city home and embarked on an unexpected journey. Both of us have fulltime jobs outside of the home. When the work day is over we return home and begin working again. We have around 100 animals here. Many of which are owner surrendered or rescued. This 4 +/- acres of land that we call Fair Haven Farms is a little piece of heaven. Not everything is always grand, but we endure the negative and celebrate the highlights of our furred and feathered friends. The farm is available for travel. We participate in many educational programs. FHF also opens the barn doors for birthday parties and other events. Feel free to visit our Fair Haven Farm facebook page. We hope to see you soon. Until then may every day be FARMTASTIC!
