Past Time For Another Post

I know it has been forever since my last post. Soooooo, here are some more pics of San Diego and Anaheim. The first pic is San Diego Bay at sunset. The rollercoaster is in the Discover California theme park in Disneyland. That is not me with Tabithia, that is another Goofy. And the last pic is our hotel. Yes, we felt like rich folk. It was enormous.

What's the big idea leaving all of us out here so long without the rambliings of your merry heart?! (That means: thanks for posting again.)

The sunset picture is gorgeous, the coaster is cool, Tabitha looks happier than she does with the usual Goofy, and the hotel is WOWZERS. Makes you feel kind of out of place staying in a rich place like that, hu? We went to Disneyland when I was about 11 year old and stayed at some hotel just across the street that had a swimming pool on the roof. It was fantastic! It was January and bitter cold, so we had the pool all to ourselves. Being good Church of God kids, we very rarely got a chance to swim due to the modesty issue and Advice to Members (I'm thankful for that, not complaining), so it didn't matter to us if we did have to break the ice on the surface of the water. We got to SWIM! In a POOL! In California--on the TOP OF A MOTEL!!! Soooooo cool.

I've done it again, haven't I? It's so rude to take over somebody else's blog. But what do you expect when you don't post anything for yourself for so long? SOMEBODY'S got to do the talking! :-)

Blog-snatcher!!!! Actually it was fun being at the Manchester Grand Hyatt. If the bell boys knew how much money we had, they would be tipping us. We just laughed a lot thinking, "These people think we are rich!" Fact of the matter is, we did not touch the snack bar in the room. I would be most unwilling to give them $3 for a candy bar. Actually, it was all in all a good trip.

About Me

My photo
In 2003, my wife Tabithia and I left our city home and embarked on an unexpected journey. Both of us have fulltime jobs outside of the home. When the work day is over we return home and begin working again. We have around 100 animals here. Many of which are owner surrendered or rescued. This 4 +/- acres of land that we call Fair Haven Farms is a little piece of heaven. Not everything is always grand, but we endure the negative and celebrate the highlights of our furred and feathered friends. The farm is available for travel. We participate in many educational programs. FHF also opens the barn doors for birthday parties and other events. Feel free to visit our Fair Haven Farm facebook page. We hope to see you soon. Until then may every day be FARMTASTIC!
