Just remember that jealosy is as cruel as the grave.

So glad that you are going to a U.S. Territory...I would really hate to hear that you were thrown into a prison in Timbuktu. ~grin~ You know...ya really need to get that little book called a PASSPORT, that way you can avoid those prisons. ~hee hee~

Hope you had a grand time.

Excuse me for asking, but how come it is you can go to Hawaii and Puerto Rico but not your own Youth Convention??? Hmmmm. Shame, shame. I know Russelville doesn't have any gorgeous beaches or ocean front hotels, but I know for SURE there were eternal riches doled out there that aren't available at vacation resorts. (Haggai 1)

Thanks (I think) for the birthday wish over on Sister Tammi's blog. The part about "aging" might necessitate rebuke, but I'll let it pass since it appears I've already administered one. I prefer to think of it as "admonishment to think about priorities" rather than rebuke. Please know I love you and am concerned for YOUR good and spiritual welfare.

I must reply to that stinging rebuke. As the Lord only chatises those He loves I know it is by that same nature that my whelps have been raised.

Now here comes the excuse...This was my first year to work the odd shift that I do. So, I ended up with a lot of extra vacation here at the end that I had to use up. I did not realize it was happening until it was too late.

I am also a bit of a hoarder. I tend to save things up like that. When I was a kid, there were three of us boys and on grocery day we had to divide up soda and things to prevent the fight. We though it should be fair, equal parts. Well to protect my stuff, I would hide it in my bedroom. I had more stuff than Wal-Mart in there. I accidentally did the same with my vaccation days.

I realize this year that I can take off more for events and conv. Last year I nearly killed myself going sleepless to get to places (except for youth convention, oh and I was in HI on Minister's conv. That was not my fault either. my vaccation was scheduled already and could not be changed.)

I am sorry. I am trying to do better this year. Really I am. *smiles like a child trying to avoid a whipping*

About Me

My photo
In 2003, my wife Tabithia and I left our city home and embarked on an unexpected journey. Both of us have fulltime jobs outside of the home. When the work day is over we return home and begin working again. We have around 100 animals here. Many of which are owner surrendered or rescued. This 4 +/- acres of land that we call Fair Haven Farms is a little piece of heaven. Not everything is always grand, but we endure the negative and celebrate the highlights of our furred and feathered friends. The farm is available for travel. We participate in many educational programs. FHF also opens the barn doors for birthday parties and other events. Feel free to visit our Fair Haven Farm facebook page. We hope to see you soon. Until then may every day be FARMTASTIC!
