Beautiful dogs.

Thanks so much. They are very individual and each has their own quirks and needs. It is like having kids.

I'm with Mom--Pokey is terrific. But... who named the poor dog?! POKEY?? He ought to be a Reginald or Franklin or something! Really, they all look like so much fun. I know it sounds corny, but I often marvel at the miracle of Creation when I'm around dogs. When I watch our dumb poodle, Hershey, I'm just fascinated at how a DOG can have so much personality--and how neat it is that God made them like that to be such a cool part of our lives!

Pokie, was born with a polkadot tongue. It was mostly pink with blue spots all over. It seemed only appropriate to name her Pokie. Kind a like the pokie little puppy.

Okay, cute dogs can only carry you for so long, Mister. It's been nearly TWO WEEKS. Don't you know you're going to have NARR breathing down your back if you don't DO something?! Just trying to save you from all the drama. :-)

About Me

My photo
In 2003, my wife Tabithia and I left our city home and embarked on an unexpected journey. Both of us have fulltime jobs outside of the home. When the work day is over we return home and begin working again. We have around 100 animals here. Many of which are owner surrendered or rescued. This 4 +/- acres of land that we call Fair Haven Farms is a little piece of heaven. Not everything is always grand, but we endure the negative and celebrate the highlights of our furred and feathered friends. The farm is available for travel. We participate in many educational programs. FHF also opens the barn doors for birthday parties and other events. Feel free to visit our Fair Haven Farm facebook page. We hope to see you soon. Until then may every day be FARMTASTIC!
